Flexible ways to train. One starting point…
Whatever you book in the end, we start with the same free 30-minute call. No assessment. No hard sell.
What We Offer
Everything below is built around one rule: nobody buys a session before they've spoken to me. I'd rather you didn't pay than pay for something that wasn't right. The discovery call is how we both find out.
In-Person Training
-
Your first session at the studio is longer than the rest, because we're building the foundation everything else stands on. We talk through what you want from training and how you want to feel doing it. We do a gentle movement screen — nothing strenuous, nothing graded, just a way for me to see how you move so the programme I write doesn't fight your body.
By the end of the session, you'll have a written first-block programme, an idea of what your next few sessions look like, and a much better feel for the space and how I work.
Format & price:
£75 — one-off
Waived when you book as part of a 10-session block
90 minutes
At the studio in Reading
What's included:
Goal-setting conversation
Movement screening (no fitness testing, no body measurements)
First-block programme tailored to you
PAR-Q completion and any access needs noted
Good to know:
Required for every new 1-to-1 studio client before regular sessions begin.
Online and gym-buddy onboarding is handled differently — confirm on your discovery call what fits.
-
Every session is one person at a time. The studio door shuts. The music's whatever you want to listen to. The programme is whatever moves you towards what you came in for — building strength, getting fitter, training for a sport, working towards a competition, or just developing a steady relationship with lifting.
Sessions are written in advance, so you always know what we're doing before you walk in. If today's plan isn't right because of how you're actually feeling, we change it. That's not a backup plan — that's how good coaching works.
Format & price:
£65 per session (paid in full on or before the day)
6-session block: £360 (saves £30) — 50% deposit (£180) at booking, balance (£180) before the first session
10-session block: £575 (saves £75; Initial Consultation included free) — 50% deposit (£287.50) at booking, balance (£287.50) before the first session
60 minutes per session
At the studio in Reading or your gym of choice if agreed in advance (additional fees may apply to cover my access to your gym)
What's included:
Programme written in advance, delivered as a Google Doc
Demonstration and coaching of every movement
Notes after each session, with anything we changed and what's coming next
Access to the studio for the full hour
Good to know:
Initial Consultation (£75) is required for new clients before the first 1-to-1 session.
Block sessions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Block bookings are non-transferable as standard. Transfers may be considered case by case with prior written approval.
24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any session.
-
Sessions working in pairs are quieter, slower, and more cooperative than the average bootcamp. Everyone follows their own plan within a shared structure, so a friend who's been training for years and one who's never lifted before can be in the same room and both get something out of the hour.
Bring your own partner (cheaper per head, friendlier programming) and help motivate each other towards your personal goals.
Format & price:
£35 per person, per session
Monthly bundle (8 sessions): £220 per person
60 minutes
At the studio in Reading
Maximum 2 people
What's included:
Individual programmes inside a shared session
Coaching and form correction throughout
Good to know:
Both clients need to do a discovery call before their first session. New members can complete a brief intake instead of the full 90-minute consultation, since we're not running a bespoke 1-to-1 programme.
Monthly bundles renew when you renew — no auto-billing.
Online - Coaching & Programmes
-
If you don't want regular coached sessions but you do want to know what to do when you walk into the gym, this is for you. After a 30-minute scoping call (separate from the discovery call, included in the price), I write you a programme that fits your goals, your equipment access, your schedule, and the way your week actually looks rather than the way a textbook says it should.
You get the programme as a Google Doc you can read on your phone, plus a tracking sheet to log sets, reps, and how it felt. If something isn't working two or three weeks in, one revision is included so we can adjust.
Format & price:
£80 — one-off
Includes one revision round
What's included:
Programme tailored to your goals, equipment, and schedule
Custom progress-tracking sheet
One revision round after you've trained on it for at least two weeks
Good to know:
If you'd rather have regular check-ins on top of the programme, look at Online Coaching — Essentials.
-
Designed for people who train on their own — at a commercial gym, at home, while travelling — and want the structure and accountability of a coached relationship without the in-person hour. You get a programme written and updated as you progress, weekly check-ins by message, and form feedback whenever you send a video.
It's flexible by design. Some weeks you'll send three videos and a long voice note; some weeks you'll just check in to say it was a good week. Both count.
Format & price:
£120 per month
Rolling monthly — cancel any time with 14 days' notice
Delivered via Google Docs, WhatsApp/Signal/email — your choice
What's included:
Programme tailored to you, updated as you progress
Weekly check-in by your preferred channel
Video form feedback within 48 hours
Custom progress-tracking sheet
Good to know:
Want regular video calls on top? Look at Online Coaching — Premium.
If you fall off for a few weeks, the programme still pauses and waits for you. Coming back is fine.

For clients who want a closer working relationship and a fortnightly call to talk things through. Same programme structure as Essentials, but you'll see me on video twice a month — to walk through technique, debrief on the last fortnight, plan the next one, or just talk.
Premium is the closest you can get to in-person coaching from outside Reading.
Format & price:
£200 per month
Rolling monthly — cancel any time with 14 days' notice
Delivered via Google Docs and video calls
What's included:
Everything in Essentials
Bi-weekly 30-minute video check-in calls
Priority message response (same working day)
Programme and tracking sheet updated as you progress
Good to know:
Limited spaces — I cap the Premium roster to keep response times honest.
Gym Buddy
I'll come with you.Gym-buddy sessions are for the bit before you're ready for everything else. Maybe you've just joined somewhere and the thought of walking through the door alone has you turning around at the car park. Maybe you used to train and you're trying to come back. Maybe you've been a member for months but never used the weights room. All of that is what this is for.
We meet at your gym (or one you've been wanting to try). I'm there as a coach if you want one and as a calm second person if you don't. Some clients use the hour to work through a programme I've written; some use it just to get comfortable with the space. Either is the right answer.
Format & price:
£50 per session (paid in full on or before the day)
4-session block: £180 (saves £20) — 50% deposit (£90) at booking, balance (£90) before the first session
60–75 minutes
At your chosen gym (in or near Reading with some exceptions if I’m already in the area)
Travel charged separately if applicable
What's included:
Coaching, light or full, depending on what you want
Programme to follow, if you'd like one written for you (book a Bespoke Programme separately or layer it in)
Help with anything from finding the changing room to using a piece of kit you've never touched
Good to know:
Works best alongside a written programme so you have a plan to follow. Plenty of clients use these sessions as a stepping stone towards training independently with confidence.
I don't need to be a member at your gym — I sign in as a guest. Some gyms charge a guest fee; if so, that's added to the session cost.
Yes, you can ask me to barely speak.
Pick the one that sounds closest. Or Don’t.
We’ll work out the right fit on the call. You don’t have to know what you want before the call.
